The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with a short unveiling ceremony at Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge Boat Dock, located at Black Bayou Boat Dock Road, Monroe, LA, 71203. The ceremony will be followed by a guided paddle at 10 a.m. The event is free and open to all paddling enthusiasts. Be sure to bring your own kayak or canoe.
