Children's Museum - National Louisiana Day

The Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum will officially celebrate NATIONAL LOUISIANA DAY on Saturday, November 9th from 10am-12pm.  The day will be filled with STEM activities and crafts with a Louisiana flare. Special guests join the fun.  The Queen of the Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere, Ki Johnson will be here to help us celebrate with a little pre-Mardi Gras visit.  Our friends from the LouisianaDepartment of Wildlife and Fisheries are bringing some native creatures, an alligator and a snake, plus animal pelts for visitors to see.
“Each year, we celebrate National Louisiana Day! Louisiana is known to be a vibrant and exciting state that is family-focused and full of a rich history. It’s great to have a special day that recognizes the food, culture, music, and the many other things that make Louisiana a great state.” Says Museum Director, Melissa Saye.
Admission is $6 per person for everyone ages 1 and up. All extra activities are included in your admission fee. The Children’s Museum is located at 323 Walnut Street in Monroe, LA.
